At Bettant Bakery, we bring the essence of French traditional baking to the heart of Miami. Our passion for quality and tradition is reflected in every loaf of bread and pastry we create.
Established in 2019, we are dedicated to using only the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, to ensure each bite is a celebration of authentic French flavors.

Matthieu’s family has been baking since 1935 at the famous Maison Bettant, starting in the Art Deco district of les Gratte-Ciel de Villeurbanne, France, with Albert and Antonia, his great-grandparents, followed by Marcel and Jacqueline his grandparents in 1965 and now his parents François and Corinne since 1981.
Both Matthieu and Miriam studied at the renowned Institut Paul Bocuse, gaining global experience in the culinary and hospitality fields.
Now, as parents of four, they pour their love of family and craft into every pastry, bread, and treat we serve.

Located in the heart of South Beach’s vibrant entertainment district, our bakery is a haven of French tradition and family warmth. For 30 years, this iconic Art Deco gem has served the community with French-inspired pastries.
In March 2019, Matthieu, a 4th generation baker, and his wife Miriam took over, bringing new life to the bakery.
